Your WooCommerce store, delivering by itself.
Keep your WooCommerce checkout and let FetchApp send the files and license keys. Use the community plugin, or ask a developer to connect your store directly.
WordPress plugin, or a direct API connection. Both deliver the same way.
Pick the one that matches your setup
The plugin offers a no-code setup. A direct connection needs a developer and gives you control over the connection code.
Connect through the API
Your developer can connect WooCommerce directly to FetchApp through the API. Your store sends paid orders using your account credentials, and you keep control of the connection code. Developer guide →

Install the WordPress plugin called FetchApp, enter your account credentials and match your product codes, called SKUs. It is published outside FetchApp, so check its release details and test it with your store before relying on it.
About the pluginCheck the plugin before you install
The WordPress plugin FetchApp connects through our current API. It is published by a developer outside FetchApp, so we do not manage its releases or fixes.
Its last release was 28 February 2023, version 1.9.2, tested against WordPress 6.1 and WooCommerce 7.4. It had around ten active installations when checked on 25 August 2026. Check it with the versions your store uses before taking live orders.
If you do not have a developer, the plugin offers a way to set up without writing code. Place a test order and check the email and download. If you need another approach, a developer can build a direct API connection while keeping your FetchApp products and orders in place. Custom connections →
Set up the community plugin
Finish with a test order through your WooCommerce checkout to check the whole connection.
Install the plugin
Search WordPress plugins for FetchApp and install it alongside WooCommerce. The plugin itself is free; it connects to your FetchApp account.
Paste your API key and token
Copy the API key and token from your FetchApp admin into the plugin. These credentials connect it to your account, so keep them private. API credentials →
Match your SKUs
Use exactly the same SKU in WooCommerce and FetchApp for each digital product, and attach its file in FetchApp. Match products and files →
Place a test order
Order from your own WooCommerce checkout, check that the delivery email arrives and open the download. This tests the connection as well as the file delivery.
What connecting directly involves
Your developer connects WooCommerce’s paid-order event to FetchApp’s API. The store sends the buyer’s email address and the SKUs they bought. FetchApp prepares the files and any available license keys, then sends the delivery email.
The connection can live in a small plugin or code snippet in your store. FetchApp handles the delivery after the order arrives; you do not need a separate delivery server.
Your developer controls this connection rather than relying on the community plugin’s release schedule. Custom connection details →
What you get once orders are arriving
Once an order reaches FetchApp, file delivery works the same way whichever connection you choose.
Edit the delivery email to use your shop’s wording. Choose time and download limits for the links, and add available license keys with each unit sold. Key delivery is included on paid plans, with no per-key charge. You can check download records, and buyers can look up their orders again. Delivery controls → · License keys →
You can also import a CSV of past orders to restore download access for existing customers. Import past orders →
Common questions
Which connection should I choose?
For a new build with a developer, we recommend a direct API connection. Without a developer, try the community plugin and check it with a test order on your current store versions. You can move to a direct connection later while keeping your FetchApp products and orders.
Is the plugin supported by FetchApp?
A developer outside FetchApp publishes and updates the plugin, so we cannot release fixes for it. We support delivery once an order reaches FetchApp and can help trace a missing order with you. Contact support →
Will it work with my current WordPress version?
The last release was tested against WordPress 6.1 and WooCommerce 7.4. Compatibility with your current versions needs checking, so place a test order before using it for live sales. If it does not work, ask us about a developer-built connection.
Do I need SSL on my store?
Yes. Your store should use HTTPS, shown by https:// at the start of its address. This protects the connection when it carries customer details.
Can I sell physical and digital products together?
Yes. FetchApp only looks at the SKUs it knows about, and the physical lines go through your normal WooCommerce fulfilment untouched. Mixed catalogues →
What does it cost?
The plugin is free. Your FetchApp plan is a flat monthly fee based on storage, with no revenue share or per-order charge. You need API credentials for the connection. Compare plans and API access →
Test it against your own store.
Add a product and file to FetchApp, connect WooCommerce and place a test order through your checkout. Check the email and download before you start taking customer orders.
